I am so obsessed with RENT right now it is not even funny. I bought the movie and have watched it so many times already, and I listen to the soundtrack all day. Seriously!! It is my new favorite movie in the world! Love it!!
I so have a huge crush on Roger. 
I would love to see it live…I will have to work on that!
So, our department had our “Winter Celebration” last night. It was good. There was a cowboy theme, which I was actually disappointed about. I actually wanted to dress up for once in my life, and no…wore the same clothes I wear all the time. Jo came with me as my date, and we commented on how we would laugh if we won a prize for our “costumes”. We didn’t win for the whole outfit, but she won best boots and I won second place boots. hehe.
Jo’s prize was a Boot pinata with a bottle of rum in it. She took the booze and gave me the boot. I love it.
I won a CD of the band that was playing, must admit I am not too excited since they nearly put us to sleep with the slow music they were playing.
I also won as part of a game, a card shuffler. Which I love so much, because my Grandpa used to have one and it reminded me of him to see it. Unfortunately when I opened it a piece was broken off. I think I can fix it though. And then as a door prize I won a book on card games. Pretty good.

The concert was great.
We had standing room tickets on the floor. The only had about a 1/3 of Rexall so we were really close. During Dierks we moved back a bit because there were a few to many drunk people around bumping into us and falling over and basically just pissing us off. Which was fine because we could see just as well and we had our personal space back. 
Eric Church obviously rocks (See below post).
Doc Walker was also great. Good times! My favorite song of theirs, is Forgive Me For Givin’ a Damn
Dierks Bentley was very good as well. He cut off all his curly hair, it is very short now. Jo likes it, me, not so much. I liked it longer. He put on an excellent show as well.
Yes, we went to the concert. The roads were totally fine. No worries at all.
The hotel was a bit of a gong show. We stayed there because Essie’s is right in the hotel so we thought that would be handy, so after the concert we go there…the bar is not open on Thursdays! So we were hungry…yeah, all of the lounges/restaurants/pubs…stop serving food way before they close, so we ordered Pizza. They put us in a non-smoking room, that smelled like smoke. So we complained so they moved us. In the new room, the remote didn’t work, it was 7 billion degrees, and one light was burnt out. And oh yeah, we almost got stuck in an elevator because the door didn’t want to open. The pop machines take tokens only, which you have to get in the lobby and then don’t even work half the time.
We won’t be staying there again.
