It’s all about me!

I am officially done my first MBA course, I e-mailed my final paper in earlier tonight.

It was kinda rough, but I survived and it seems like we have a good group, so I think it will be fun overall.  We already had a celebration at Paddy’s on Friday night after we were done. 

As you may or may not know, the catalyst for our trip to New York was that Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, two of the Original Broadway Cast members of Rent were going back to do the show on Broadway for 6 weeks.  They have since extended their time.

I have no problem admitting, I am obsessed with Rent.  It started with watching the movie, and I thought yeah that was good. But then the more I thought about it, the more I loved it.  So I bought it, and watched it obsessively.  And then I got the movie soundtrack on iTunes and then bought the Original Cast recording on CD.  Goodbye Love is the #1 most played song on my Ipod.   The obsession basically spiraled from there…  But as the show demonstrates, there is worse things I coud be addicted to.

I particularly love Adam Pascal.  I don’t know what it is, but I just think he rocks!!  Seeing him perform live was so amazing and I loved every second of it.  I was bummed that he didn’t come out to sign autographs after, but oh well.

What can I say?  I LOVE Rent!!!!! and Adam Pascal!!

 

Granted…they are the only two I have used/worn so far.

More than halfway done my first MBA course.   It is a lot of work, and it totally sucks having to come home and do more work. I am totally not used to that.   Had our first group presentation today, totally hate those. Survived though.  Another one on Friday, with a different group. 

I swear this was not staged in anyway… I totally just happened to notice this.
Apparently, I stand a certain way, pointed in a certain direction when I take my boots off…..

ok, I think I am done for today. I have a ton more things to post….all about NYC, and RENT!!!!  So I am going to try to update this more regularly.  ANd if you are reading, please comment!

Thanks to facebook I reconnected with some friends that I have not talked to in forever.

When I was home I went to lunch with Crystal and her daughter Rebecca and Tiana and her son Ben.  It was so good to see them.

I also went to lunch with Cindy and her daughter Mercedes.  No pics from that one unfortunately.  But it was great to catch up!

He is such a cutie!! I wish I got to see him more, even when I am down it seems like I hardly get to see him.

He didn’t take long to warm up to me though, stared at me for awhile, looked me up and down…and soon after I was chasing him around the house and he was giggling up a storm. haha.

Me and Nita went to Nickelback, and had a blast!! I wanna be a rockstar!

What Jack didn’t capture is that I continued sliding right out of the pool…guess my body is longer than designed for. hehe.
