We had a door decorating contest at work….. I think it’s kewl.

So Jackie told me I had to blog this and since she gave me such great instructions… I will oblige her.

So, I had the urge to make peppermint bark or candy cane bark or whatever you call it.

Unfortunately, I had to unwrap 7000 tiny candy canes first…..do they come unwrapped?  That would be kind of unhygenic I guess.

BUY MORE CHOCOLATE!!!

Actually this bark totally saved me. I had made it to take into work just for fun, and the same night I was making cookies for a cookie exchange..and they were a total disaster so I ended up giving them this instead. I did try to make another recipe but with no time to spare and no more butter and no eggs….your choices are limited…so I made fudge….
You want to know how that turned out?

Done school for the term, and soooooo happy about it!!!

I bought a new winter coat, and it was an investment…but it was worth every penny.  Because this morning Jo and I volunteered for the Food Bank drive, so we were outside in the back of truck in -35 weather. Seriously!
We didn’t have to be outside, we could have sat in the truck, but we found that people gave more if you were outside and then the radio station came and told people we were dancing so we had to keep that up.  One benefit of being at the Safeway location was that people kept buying us hot chocolates and stuff. I have never had so many in my life. I am still nauseous from all the sugar.
 Anyway, this was my stylish look from this morning.
