It’s all about me!

Jo and I went to see Grease last night at Keyano.  It was good, I might have been biased as a couple people I talked to were not really impressed with it, but it was ok.  They were mostly high school kids, pretty young.
Then Jo, Damjana (no idea if I am spelling that right) went out to Cowboys.  I have not been there in a really long time.  We had a great time, they played good music and we danced tons.  Good Times.

This was THE commercial for awhile…coined way too many catch phrases.

So, one thing about working at Syncrude is that it is a huge company with lots of people spread over a large area.  So you tend to do a lot of communication via phone or e-mail.  The crazy thing is that when you finally meet these people you have been talking to every week….they are on your bus so really you have been seeing each other every day and had no idea.   It’s weird.

Poor Rhett!!

• Just made Banana Chocolate chip muffins…waiting for them too cool.
• Tried to make Biscotti…didn’t work…the dough was too dry.
• Procrastinating on doing my homework
• Have got alot done today, see above bullet…
• Started my Vanilla Bean Noel Lotion from Bath and BodyWorks!!  Smells like Caramel, love it!!

Little bit more I guess.  Though it has been too cold to snow really.  It was really cold, for a really long time. I heard people saying in the whole time they have been here, 20+ years it has never been this bad for so long.
Things seem to be warming up now though.  Yayyyyy!!!!

It seems like everyone is having babies lately.  I went to see Lisa yesterday, she just had Brooke on Monday. She is beautiful…and tiny!!  She was only 6 pounds when she was born.  I as per usual was freaked out, I am always nervous to hold babies, I don’t know why. It’s weird.  So I didn’t hold Brooke till right before we were leaving, I let Crystal and Marie hold her instead. Wow, she was tiny.
 I remember when I went to see Carson after he was born, Kit just gave him to me. He didn’t give me an option and of course once I held him I didn’t want to let go. hehe.
 Lee and Sue just had Alexa on Tuesday I think. Terri should be having her baby very soon, she has headed down to Calgary already.  Maria will also be having her baby soon. And Nita is due in May, and I am planning a trip home for then. I can’t wait.

So, when we went to Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, they had live music.   The singer was really cute and he was a good singer.   So, at one point, Jo and I were dancing and we see Crystal coming to the dance floor but she is going to the front and then when she sees us coming towards her she kinda turns around and goes back to the table…It was weird. 
Then later on back at the table, the waitress comes back and give Terri some change and once again I am confused and she said she bought these drinks separately…I was like ok…
Then later the singer comes walking over to the table and was like Who’s Birthday is it?   Turns out Crystal had been trying to go buy his CD for me but instead got the waitress to do it and then got him to come over and sign it.
As I mentioned, he is quite attractive and a very good singer…Terri started chatting him up…turns out, he is also very cocky.  Terri was asking him if Toby ever comes in here and all this stuff and Tony (that’s his name) says yeah he comes in but never talks to the band and then starts going on about how he thinks Toby won’t sign him to his record label because he is scared of the competition.  Yeah, that’s it.  Keep telling yourself that.

I didn’t have any pictures of my Birthday night in Vegas, because Terri was the only one who brought her camera( Mine wouldn’t fit in my purse).  She finally got a chance to send them.

We went to Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill.  It was alot of fun!! The food was not that good, but they had live music and a fun atmosphere.
