It’s all about me!

Busy weekend, will post more details later.
BBQ on Friday night.
Marie and Pete’s wedding on Saturday.
Sunning at the River, and drinks on the patio on Sunday.

Have to work tomorrow, and am probably working from home on Tuesday.  Need to bank the hours.

Last night there was a drive-by shooting in Timberlea…a nice area of town.
Today there was a shooting “incident” in Abasand where you were not allowed into the area and if you were already there you were recommended to not leave your house….

I think New York would be safer….

Crystal, Jo and I went to the Rodeo last weekend.  It was ok, not a lot of success…I am not
sure what level they were at. The guy who won the steer wrestling was the only one who
actually touched his steer.
It took place outside, and we were in the front row of the bleachers, but there were some
people sitting down in front of the fence, mostly kids and some parents. I can’t remember
whether it was the saddlebronc or bareback but the horse was bucking and he kept closer
and closer…until he actually jumped on the fence.  Jo was about to take off cause she
thought he was going to come over the fence, I still ducked but I didn’t really think he would
come over.  We all got showered in a ton of dirt though.  This poor kid in front of us was crying
and screaming, no wonder, he was right at the fence and he was very small, maybe 2 yrs old.

These are my aviator sunglasses I bought in New York.  I looked long and hard….and finally found
these at Macy’s. I debated for a long time, which should have been a sign.  I think they are too
big…what do you think?

 

Crystal and Bob had a get together at their house to celebrate their newly redone kitchen,
unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the actual kitchen, just people…

I have totally been slacking on my blog, and I have been called on it by two people. Sorry!!

This weekend, was busy!!
Friday night - Went to a good-bye party for some people I work with.  Good times.
Saturday - Volunteered for a Days of Caring Event, we painted the majority of the inside of
the Boys and Girls Club. 
Saturday Night - Went to Crystal’s for her “Kitchen” Party to celebrate her newly redone
kitchen.  Very nice and it was a good party.
Sunday - Again volunteered.

So sore, so tired!!
Have school this week and am not looking forward to it.  We have had this Prof before, and
I really do not like him.
