Concert #??
So last weekend Jo went to another concert and as a first for us going together to a
concert that wasn’t country. I had been to many, but not ever with Jo.
The first act was Econoline Crush and unfortunately we missed most of their set as
we were running late.
They seemed good though, here is a taste…
Next was Hinder. I like a couple of their songs, but in this case the live show did not
help. Their non hits mostly consisted of the lead singer screaming so you can’t
understand him… and he even screamed when he was talking to the crowd…
in order to keep that raspy voice going I guess…and he was the worst dancer
I have seen on stage…and was basically trying to be Steven Tyler, he was even wearing a boa…
Next up was Staind…in this case they made me a bigger fan. I love Aaron Lewis’ voice,
and they had good songs. One of the guitar players was hilarious…he would be doing the
bob the head thing and then they would get to the chorus and he would just lose it, he
would be playing the guitar by his feet and then flinging it up to and down…very hard to
describe but funny to watch. You can see it in the clip, the guy on the left.
and finally 3 Doors Down! Liked them, and love them now. The lead singer is hot,
and can move…especially compared to Hinder… haha. They rocked. So good.
Brad Arnold is the lead singer, and he has a southern accent. I like…
I know I sound like a 12 year old girl, whatevs. He is hot.
But I never really thought that till I saw him in concert, like I said, he can move,
he is passionate and the accent…
Something else that endeared him to me even more was that during their encore,
he would pull the crowd surfers up on the stage when they made it to the front and
even better than that, he went crowd surfing…that is pretty kewl…and pretty risky
for him I would think…impressive.
