Toronto - Day 3

On Day 3, Jo took me down to the Danforth where she used to live and we got some Panini’s and Brio at the Royal Beef Deli.

We took our food down to the Beaches…yes it is plural and  I don’t know why.
We watched some volleyball players….

After that we met up with Jo’s Cousin Nar and her husband Nic and went for Gelato.
Then we went to the NKOTB concert, see previous post…. ;-)

And that was my trip to Toronto.  Good times. :-)

Toronto - Day 2

Day 2 in the T-dot we went to a bridal shower for Jo’s cousin’s fiance.  It was fun and got to meet some more of Jo’s family.
That night we went out to the Devil’s Martini…with our matching outfits. :-P
It was a kewl club, all white with white couches and stuff…unfortunately the music was pretty old school and we weren’t really feeling it.

Toronto - Day 1

I got into Toronto at 6:39 am!  We went to Jo’s house to change and stuff before heading out for the day.  We were sitting in her Dad’s van in the driveway as he was going to take us to the TTC station to go downtown…and Jo’s neighbour backed out of the driveway and hit her rental car. Seriously!  More drama ensued with uncooperative neighbours and cops being called. Anyway, we had to go report the accident where there was even more cute cops and then we were able to get on with our day.

Eventually we made if to the University of Toronto.  Wow, it is an amazing school, just like in the movies.  Huge old buildings, multiple buildings, it was so nice!! Loved it.

Looks comfortable doesn’t it?

University College

As close as I got to the CN Tower.

After this we did some shopping on Queen street, fun. :-)

On the way home, we checked out Union Station. Beautiful.

After this we were exhausted and went back to Jo’s parents and crashed.
