It’s all about me!

I really want my new laptop.  I am really excited for the movie making and picture software that comes with Macbooks.  I kinda got into the movies a little while ago and didn’t have a lot of time to play with it. But the new software looks awesome. There is also very kewl photo software as well.

I got sick this weekend…so we didn’t get to go see Stomp. I am pretty bummed.
It was the flu that turned into a cold. I am still trying to get rid of the end of the cold.

Jo and I are gong to see Stomp! this weekend. I was trying to describe it to my mom and couldn’t, so here it is.

Terri, Jo and Crystal and I got together to exchange Christmas gifts tonight. It was so much fun, they came over to my place and we got sushi, well no…I got sushi, and they all got chicken teriyaki…wusses. haha.
I got a gorgeous diamond peace sign necklace, friendship balls, a contribution towards my bar, and some cowboy coffee. :-)  It was awesome.  The Friendship balls are blown glass that are different colors, they are big as well. Pictures to come later.

I had never even heard of Twilight until the movie came out, and I still wasn’t really into it. I usually specifically stay away from stuff like that…I have never read a Harry Potter book or seen a movie. And I refuse to. 
But Sandra told me how good Twilight was, and that she couldn’t put it down. She and I have been known to have the same taste in books, so I asked for Twilight for Christmas. I got it, loved it and immediately went out and bought the next three books in the series.  I am just starting the second one now as I had left them at home to be sent up on the bus with some other stuff. Stupid move on my part.

On the Thanksgiving weekend Jo and I went down to Calgary for the Toby Keith Concert, Carmelina’s baptism and also thanksgiving dinner at my parents. It was a busy but fun weekend.
The pics are on my other computer but I did find this video on youtube from the concert.
Toby Keith put on an awesome show as he always does, and he personalized the song for Canada.  That confetti that is showed in the video covered the whole floor and it was a couple of inches deep. He is also the only country artist I know who swears in concert. Pretty funny!!

I love this song and the video makes it even better. Not because I hate my life, but just because it is a funny song.

It has been a long time….sorry. Last year was pretty busy between work and school.  I probably lost all my readers by now anyway.  And then when I wasn’t busy, I just didn’t want to do anything.
So yeah…my current computer died, so I am on a borrowed computer. But I just ordered a new Macbook Pro, but because they just announced the new one…I will have to wait 3-4 weeks to get it.  It kinda sucks not having any of my music or pics on here. But at least I backed them up before my computer died.
Class starts again next weekend. Not real excited about that, but we are half done now.
Jo and I are going to L.A. and on a cruise at the end of March, that should be fun.  It is a John Mayer cruise, so he, along with a number of other bands will be on board.
