Yayy!!! My Macbook is scheduled to ship on the 3rd now!! Which is 2 weeks earlier than they told me. Sweet!!!

Loved the movie…bought it. Bought the book. Loved it.
Liked the TV show but never consistently watched it, so I bought seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and love it. I spent all weekend watching season 1, totally wasting time…but so worth it.
Working on Season 2 now.

I am livid.

I come home today and check my e-mail and I have a message from Apple that my order has been cancelled because of a problem with my payment. Which I wondered about because it was on my old credit card, and the bank issued me a new one on their own. But I keep reading and they have cancelled my order. I try to remain calm thinking…well it should be faster shipping because the old macbooks shipped within 24 hours, I thought the 3-4 weeks was due to the new ones…but it has been 3-4 weeks so they must be ready…yeah no.  I wil have to wait another 3-4 weeks.

So I phone apple and ask can’t I just give them a new credit card number. The guys says no because the order has been cancelled.  So I say couldn’t you have given me a chance to correct it before you cancelled it? Well, apparently BMO marked my card as lost or stolen so Apple automatically cancels the order just in case.  That does make sense, except for the fact that I placed the order on January 8th, and have already gotten the two other items on the order.

The support guy was like have I satisfied your concern? I said No, not really but I guess there is nothing you can do.  He was like, thanks for calling my name is Dennis.

So I sent an angry comment on Apple’s site and and angry one on the BMO site as well.
I know it is really no-one’s fault and it makes sense but I am so mad. I want that computer so bad and I was so close to getting it.

What is up with all the product placement in TV and movies? I was watching 90210 the other day (don’t judge) and it was obvious enough with the huge Dr. Pepper sign in the restaurant. But it was so cheesy when the woman tidying up her house, picked up the Dr. Pepper can…come on.
I then went to see “He’s just not that into you” and wow…the girl opens up a medicine cabinet and right smack dab in the middle is a box of Crest Whitestrips, then a later scene has two girls shopping in the drug store…and while talking holding up a venus razor just so.
What happened to subtlety??

I love texting, today I talked to Crystal, Lindsay and Nita.  It is so handy.  Nita just got texting and she loves it too.  I use it to talk to Jackie, Sandra and Josie too.
I did get some freaky texts the other day though.  One said Hey, how are ya? and the next said where are you?  I didn’t recognize the number, so I asked who is this?  The response was “You should know” so I responded with ” I don’t”. Then I got “well I know all about you”
so I stopped responding and then I got “I’m on my way”. Still didn’t respond.  I was alone in a hotel room in Edmonton, trying to figure out if someone got my number or if it was just a wrong number and they didn’t realize it…but thankfully the next text I got said “I am just bugging you, Nita”.  I was really creeped out.

I am kicking myself for not following my instincts.  Jo was renewing her passport in December and I said oh maybe I should renew mine. But she said no, yours doesn’t expire until May, after our trip to L.A. And so I didn’t, even though I knew there was something about travelling within 6 months of it expiring.
And now a co-worker told me yeah,  you should renew it now because they can refuse to let you in if it expires within 6 months. So, now I am taking the day off tomorrow so that I can go to the passport office in Edmonton in person. If you do that it only takes 2 weeks to process. 
I don’t mind being in Edmonton by myself, might be kinda fun to do some shopping on my own. But I am not really looking forward to the drive.  Oh well, at least I have my new ride. 
And I was supposed to be gone at 9ish…but I slept in after I turned off my alarm.  I trick I always seem to do when I am supposed to get up to drive somewhere by myself.

I love sushi…welll I love rolls…California rolls, cucumber rolls, salmon rolls, that kind of stuff. I don’t actually like the big pieces of raw fish.
I have ate it 4 of the last 5 days.

I finally got a call on my blazer, after I put it on Kijiji…but the guy stalked Crystal’s house and bailed without really seeing it.  I just want to sell it.
